1. This adapter card only supports 22110 2280 2260 2242 2230 size pcie x2 X4 AHCI and nvme protocol m.2 ngff hard disk, the SATA protocol certainly does not support! The fixed column is located at 22110 size position during shipment. If you need other positions, please consult before purchase or use pliers to pull out the fixed column and move it to the corresponding position after receiving the goods. Note that AHCI is not equal to SATA!
2. This is the pcie x4 interface. If your original hard disk is pciex4, the speed is almost a quarter of that of the original hard disk (the premise is that both are pcie 3.0, and if your interface is pcie 2.0 or pcie 1.0, the speed is even slower). This product is compatible with PCIe 4.0 3.0 2.0 1.0, but the interface bandwidth is different at different speeds. There are different bandwidth speedometers for reference below.
3. Whether it can be used as a system disk is related to your motherboard and the transfer card. Generally, the motherboard with DDR4 memory can support nvme protocol hard disk as boot disk, and some old motherboards can also realize nvme hard disk boot by brushing BIOS
4.
